 There are two different methods we have provided below for changing the product key for Office 2010. So we will start will the 1st method.

 Method 1

1) You need to open the run dialog box, and then type “regedit” in it as shown in below image.  Press the OK button in order to continue.

2) Registry editor will open. Then you need to go through with following path “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Registration”. Press right click on Registration and select the delete option, as shown below screen image.

3) You will be notified by a dialog box asking you about confirm key delete. Press YES button, as we have shown in below image.

Now you need to close the registry editor. Restart your Office 2010 application, as you will be notified to reenter your Office 2010 License key.

Method 2

1) You need to click on start menu, then click on control panel followed by programs and features and further on Add/Remove programs. However, it is depending upon the operating system you are using. Here we are using Windows 7. So then go through with the programs list and select Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010. Click on the “Change” option on the top of the menu, as shown in below screenshot.

2)You will be notified by a dialog box. So you need to select the option “Enter a Product key” and then press the Continue button, as shown in below image.

3)Now you should be able to change the product key for your copy of Office 2010. So enter the suitable product key and press the “Continue” button to further move. We have shown you the scenario in below screenshot.

4)On the next screen you need to check on “I accept the terms of this agreement” and then press “Continue” button as shown in below screenshot.

5)You will see the configuration progress, as we have shown in below image.

6)Now press the CLOSE button.

7)Now you are notified by the Microsoft Office Activation Wizard. You need to select the option “I want to activate the software over the Internet (recommended)”. Then press the NEXT button in order to continue as shown below.

8)In the next screen, you can be notified by the message that your copy of Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 is now activated. You need to Press CLOSE button.
